A story of incredible strength of character. Once I began reading this book I couldn't put it down because I had to find out what happened next! A story of a child who became an amazing woman and didn't let life's downs keep her down! An inspiration to anyone who has struggled.

What an inspiring tale of a young girl who, through her own strength and determination, overcame a tough childhood in post WWII England. I couldn't put it down.
