About the Author
FRAN FERDER, FSPA, is a Franciscan sister, clinical psychologist, university professor, and author. Since 1985 she has been co-director of Therapy and Renewal Associates (TARA), a counseling and consultation resource in the Pacific Northwest. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University, where she teaches graduate courses in pastoral care skills and Christian sexuality. Sr. Fran has authored several books, including Words Made Flesh and, with John Heagle, Tender Fires. She is a frequent presenter at national and international workshops in areas of biblical spirituality and human communication, Christian sexuality, and other topics.
JOHN HEAGLE is a priest, counselor and author, with more than 42 years of pastoral experience as a campus minister, college professor, pastor, and retreat director. In 1976 he was appointed the first director of the Office of Justice and Peace for his diocese. Since 1985 he has served as a licensed psychotherapist and co-director of Therapy and Renewal Associates (TARA), a counseling and consultation resource in the Pacific Northwest. He also teaches courses in the graduate School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University. Fr. A waste of money

Based largely on the controversial and disturbing research by Kinsey (who used data from sexual molestations of children), this book promotes the mistaken and harmful idea that children are much more sexually aware and developed than they actually are. Incorrect, disturbing and outdated.
